We are committed to shaping a more just world, and believe that the stories of Indigenous women are key for our collective liberation, our collective re-existence. They must be centered in contemporary movements for transformative social change and justice.

Histories of Indigenous women's leadership, responsibility and power are too often subordinated, suppressed or silenced. This attests to their revolutionary potential.

The histories in our archive hold urgent lessons about knowing, thinking, and living despite and beyond coloniality. They give voice to a worldview rooted in reciprocity with the land and all of its inhabitants. They do not simply counter or add to the existing historical narrative. They transform it. We are driven and inspired by the transformative power of these stories to illuminate new ways of envisioning our collective liberation and re-existence. Towards a world where many worlds fit.

Illuminate the past. Transform the present. Indigenize the future.
