Revisiting international solidarity with Indigenous struggles

Visiting with people in the Netherlands dedicated lives to building solidarity reminded me that in the grand scheme of things, our struggle is bigger than us. It’s about saving the earth. And that comes down to humanity, the responsibility of each of us as human beings to live in harmony. For me, solidarity is about finding people who share that mutual understanding. Fostering and nurturing relationships with people that will walk with you, sit with you, sometimes guide you, and most importantly, hear you.
